Can you engrave a personal item I have or one I purchase and send to you?

While we welcome custom requests, we are unable to engrave items you give us. This is because every material engraves differently and there is always a risk an item won’t engrave or will be ruined trying. This is why we like to purchase the item for custom products, this way a customer is not out their property in the event it does not work out. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or custom order requests

Will I receive a demo prior to engraving?

A demo is a computer-generated image of how your engraving will look on the item. It will show the layout, size, font choice. This gives you a chance to make changes prior to engraving the actual item. With most of our products like cutting boards, wood planks, and frames we always provide demos. If you would like a demo on a different item just ask. We’re always happy to help you out.

What should I expect after placing an order?

You will receive a confirmation email along with instructions on how to send us your personalization details/photos if applicable. We will reach out with any questions and/or a demo prior to engraving. Once you approve your demo your order will be engraved. Once completed we will send a photo. Please approve finished product(s) within 24 hours so it does not delay the shipping. We will send a tracking number to your email address on file when the item has shipped.

What kind of personalization do you offer?

We are able to engrave photos, logos, actual handwriting, fingerprints, and handprints onto a variety of objects and items in our keepsake shop. These include wallets, knives, hammers, frames, planks, keychains, and more. However, we do not usually take orders asking us to customize your personal objects (such as phones or jewelry), as we can not guarantee the engraving quality on these objects.

What’s the average turnaround time to place my order, have it produced, and receive it in the mail?

This largely depends on which item you order and the type of customization you want. In general, we strive to have your item to you within 2 weeks from the date of purchase. Some items ship sooner than that, and some may take a little longer due to the staining/drying process or if photos need retouched. This estimate may also be affected during peak seasons (Christmas, Father’s Day, etc.). We use USPS priority shipping, so once your order is completed, the average transit time is 2 to 4 business days. Contact us in advance if you need your item by a certain date or if placing a bulk order, we will do everything we can to accommodate you and rush the item if possible.

Can you engrave any image or logo?

Yes, we can! However, we ask that you please contact us prior to purchasing through our shop and provide us with the desired image/logo you wish to engrave. This is because some logos may not fit well on certain products we sell. Also, the logo image must not have a copyright or be too intricate. Finally, you must have high-quality images available so that the image does not come out pixelated.

I live in the Reno/Sparks area. Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes! Contact us prior to ordering so we can give you a code to remove the shipping cost as well as schedule a pickup date and time. Delivery may also be available for a small fee.

Can you process bulk orders?

Absolutely! Please contact us and we will provide a bulk price estimate, shipping quote, and approximate processing time. If you need items produced with urgency, please let us know this as well.

What happens if my item arrives damaged?

We pack each item with extreme care and use shipping insurance. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged please contact us immediately. We will offer a replacement or refund. Pictures must be provided of the shipping box and item for filing a claim with the shipping provider. The damaged item will be collected after the claim is processed, please do not discard it. You must contact us within 5 days of receiving the item.

How do I get the details, specifications, and photos related to my custom order over to Keepsakes Engraved?

If you look at the top of this website, you’ll see a button that says, Special Requests & Custom Orders. Luckily, you’re here already so just click the link right here and it will take you to a page where you can upload and email instructions to us. If you have questions, always feel free to call us or fill out the contact form below.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes. Please contact us before loading your cart with the item(s) you’d like to purchase. A phone call may be best in this instance. Please include important info along with the date you will need your item(s) by to ensure we can accommodate you. Depending on the item and our current turnaround time, a rush fee and shipping upgrade may apply.

Oops, I messed up! Can I cancel my order?

Yes, however, we ask that you please contact us within 24 hours of purchase to avoid the production of unwanted orders. As long as your item hasn’t been processed yet, we will refund your order in full.
